The property is a traditional New Orleans duplex with the owners residing on one side and the rental being the other side (see last photo for layout). You will have a private kitchen, living area, two bathrooms and three bedrooms; one holds a luxurious king size bed, one holds a queen bed and has an en-suite, while the other holds 2 single beds. Each bedroom has a door to close for privacy. The laundry room is a shared space with the owners. The oversized backyard is also a shared space with the homeowners who enjoy spending their days beautifying the property grounds and occasionally hosting small, intimate culinary events as one of the owners is a Chef. There is ample free, first come first serve street parking.
Our home is located in the Marigny which is an eclectic neighborhood next to the French Quarter. The area is filled with beautiful historic homes, trendy cafes and bars and fine restaurants. The Franklin Restaurant, Pepps Pub, Flora Gallery & Coffee Shop, The Orange Couch, Marigny Opera House, JAMNOLA, Bywater Brew Pub are all within 1-4 blocks walking distance. Explore hip Frenchmen St which is only 5 blocks away; checkout The Spotted Cat or Maison! The French Market is an easy 15 minute walk (about 9 blocks) or an Uber/Lyft can have you there in less than 5 minutes. Uber/Lyft can also have you to Bourbon in about 8 minutes. The Riverfront Streetcar line is next to the French Market (9 blocks away)
